Lion Dance Kids uses storytelling to introduce concepts of strength, wisdom and bravery. Narrating a hero’s journey explaining the origins of chinese celebrations & cultural diversity among other programs.

We aim to give insight into the Chinese culture and introduce the concepts of Kung Fu to kids, defined as the mastery of skill over long periods of time. Developing resilience, grit, and responsibility in children. Hosting classes to experience Lion & Dragon dance in person, providing an upfront encounter with the costumes and instruments. To spark interest in pursuing the art form with greater detail.

Our Programs

LION DANCE

With Chinese New Year just around the corner, enquire about having Lion Dance Kids come and share the story of "A Chinese New Year".

Students leave with a sense of Courage & Bravery. This is our most popular educational program.

DRAGON DANCE

The Dragon Dance workshop starts by telling students a story about a young boy who encounters a magical dragon, and why the dragon represents prosperity and unity. Students finish workshop with a understanding of Chinese Culture and experience team bonding activities.

Participant Health and Safety:

You are responsible for ensuring that Your child is in good health and free from any contagious illnesses or medical conditions that may pose a risk to themselves or others.

Liability Release and Waiver:

You release Lion Dance Kids, its directors, employees, and instructors from any liability for personal injury, loss, property damage, or expenses incurred during Your child's participation in our activities, including negligence on our part.

Personal Property:

Lion Dance Kids is not responsible for any loss, damage, unauthorized use, theft, or injury related to personal property brought onto our premises by You or Your child.

Media Usage:

You consent to Lion Dance Kids using photos, videos, and other media taken during classes for personal or commercial purposes, without charging any fee or royalty.

Legal Agreement:

You recognize that these Terms constitute a legal contract and are intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by applicable laws.

Child Safe Policy:

I acknowledge that Lion Dance Kids is not accountable for any loss, damage, unauthorized use, theft, or injury relating to personal property brought onto the premises by my child or myself.

I understand that this Agreement and Release and Waiver constitute a legal contract, designed to be as comprehensive as legally permissible under Australian law.
